Deceived - Smash Patriarchy EP

Just wanted to upload a little bit of Connecticut punk history, here's Deceived. It's members of former members (at the time) of The Pist, Brutally Familiar, and (unbelievably) the first line-up of Blanks 77 who later went on to React, Caustic Christ, Behind Enemy Lines. Jon from State of Fear played bass during their one live gig, and Al from The Pist plays bass on a few tracks on the album. But the main line up is Bill, Brendan & Jeff, who were basically Revolt which was the band formed after Brutally Familiar broke up.

I helped Pete fund the second pressing of this record and got a shitload of copies for distro, but I've never been a businessman - even in the business of punk. So if you're ever in Meriden, CT - I think I left a hundred or so copies in an apartment that Bill and I got evicted from above Skip's Guitar. Happy hunting!

Dead Nation - Dead End LP

Don't really need to be a writer for this one, nor do I need to copy and paste. This is pre-Tear It Up, and it makes me wish there never was a TIU. These guys were around at the same time as React, so we used to play with them on a weekly basis throughout the Northeast. Some of the best times I've had in my life. These guys were the skatecore/hardcore revival before the new wave of fucking jocks got involved. The real deal. Noone can hold a candle to them. 20 songs in around 20 minutes. They didn't get any recognition AT ALL until they broke up.

I totally love and miss you guys.
